minnesota attorney general
The Office of Minnesota Attorney General deals with many legal issues in Minnesota. This office is authorized by statute to issue written legal opinions only to constitutional executive officers, state agencies, bodies of the state legislature, and attorneys for local government or pension funds. The Attorney General's Office welcomes complaints from citizens on a large variety of matters. This includes consumer problems. Buying a dog or cat from a breeder or pet store or through a website, for instance, is a consumer transaction covered under consumer protection laws. While this office does not represent individual citizens, if you believe the problem you have could be addressed or should be heard by this office, contact them. On the website, they list a telephone hotline as well as a Consumer Complaint Form. Minnesota Attorney General’s Office Complaint form can be found at: http://www.ag.state.mn.us/
